I often get asked if we get close to the animals when we er on our photo safaris. Notice in these 2 shots we are among a herd of 20+ elephants who milled around our cars and even the young are neither perturbed nor overly protected  This experience was actually in Lake Manyara National Park in Tanzania. We spent more than an hour observing and photographing these wonderful creatures.
